Child abuse is when a parent or caregiver, whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, death, emotional harm or risk of serious harm to a child. There are many forms of child maltreatment, including neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation, and emotional abuse 
Domestic violence as a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner. Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, economic, or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person.
Sexual assault is any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient. Falling under the definition of sexual assault are sexual activities as forced sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child molestation, incest, fondling, and attempted rape.

Please join Connected In Oak Brook (CiOB) for their beer tasting and fundraising event benefiting EVA Alliance!

This event will feature opportunities for networking, socializing, philanthropy and a whole lot of fun. And it will be fueled by one of the biggest selections of craft beer in the western suburbs.

Snacks and small bites will also be provided.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 13th from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
WHERE: Beer House, 322 Yorktown Shopping Center, Lombard, IL 60148
REGISTRATION: Registration will be $15 on Eventbrite and $20 at the door day of the event.
